Equipment information

Complete more tasks with the Develon DX140W wheeled excavator. Its fast travel speeds allow you to easily travel between nearby job sites to complete utility repairs, construction tasks and street maintenance.

A major advantage over other brands of similar size is the Develon's transport narrow width. At 2496 mm wide, it can be transported in gauge, not only keeping transport costs down but allowing delivery to locations others can't access.

Undercarriage flexibility

Its modular frame design allows you to easily configure the machine’s undercarriage with a dozer blade or outriggers. Operators can level or backfill material with the dozer blade, or stabilise the machine during digging, using the outriggers individually to level the machine on slopes.

Steelwrist tiltrotator

We have fitted this excavator with a Steelwrist tiltrotator (45° tilt angle and 360° rotation), enabling the operator to position tools precisely and perform numerous tasks without repositioning the excavator.

It is perfect for a wide range of applications, such as on construction sites, road construction, utility work, cable laying and landscaping. The Steelwrist tiltrotator positions the work tool by combining a tilting and a rotary movement, making it excellent for work in narrow spaces.

Experienced tiltrotator operators usually estimate the productivity improvement to between 20 and 35% depending on the type of job, truly unlocking the excavator’s efficiency.

Work management technology

This excavator is also fitted with Trimble Earthworks 3D machine control platform, which uses advanced technology to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of heavy equipment operators in construction.
